It’s nice to be able to look back at a year and realize how much ‘making’ has happened! Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to photograph every single thing I sewed in 2015 – simply because they were last minutes gifts sewn the night before or because the lighting in the winter (read: October to March) is very sparse… Nevertheless, I managed to compile a list of quite a few. First up the no-fail Oliver + S dancing skirt aka tutu:
Some comfy pants for Stella with super stretchy yoga waists:
A few colorful dresses for warmer days:
A couple of costumes:
I don’t know how many skirts …
And then this first intended as a skirt but quickly altered into a top via simple hangers:
Then a whole lot of non-garment sewing for gift giving purposes:
Two dozen drawstring bags and mini totes for the school fundraiser:
Numerous lavender sachets as gifts for friends, teachers and neighbors and for every drawer in the house!
and even bedspreads:
A tote or two or three …
A little purse for the Miss …
and another dozen for her birthday guests …
A few things for the dolls:
And some hair accessories:
A few dozen bracelets from bright and cheery fabric scraps some with embroidery!
The below one I gifted my mom for Christmas:
Well, a quilt will actually be my first project of the new year as well. I used New Year’s Eve to start cutting my new fabric for a quilt for the family. I cannot wait to sit back in front of my sewing machine and get started!!
